oh my

so i'm starting to realize the things that i say a lot, based on what olive is saying, like, "oh my". it sounds so formal coming from her, and i think it even sounds formal coming from me! today we took a walk down the alley, and we were looking at flowers and rocks, and everything was big rock little rock big bird little bird 'oh my!'

i realize also that i ALWAYS say "bing!" when her hand pops through the sleeve when helping her to get dressed. i think i've done that since day one. so now she says, 'bing!' when putting a shirt on (when her hands come through) and she also says 'one seev, two seev-- bing!'

she has a really good relationship with the doll i made her and the doll my parents gave her-- they go with her all over the place. one's named mocha (the name of the fabric, andy started that one) and the other burma, since she was made by burmese refugees...i think when telling olive about that she must have said something sounding like burma, so i ran with it. mocha, burma, and olive-o.

so, since she's had her diaper changed at least 5 times a day every day of her life, why does she still hate it EVERY time it has to happen?
